HOUSE RULES

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you comply with our house rules. In the event that these rules are not adhered to, we regret to inform you that access to the venue will be denied or you may be asked to leave. Please note that refunds will not be issued in such cases. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

For the safety and security of all patrons, please be aware upon entering Winter Gardens Blackpool:

It is a condition of entry that customers agree to be searched.

Police will be informed if anyone is found in possession of controlled substances or weapons.

CCTV is in operation throughout the venue for your protection.

Unattended bags and items may be removed and inspected for security purposes.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We take the safety and security of our guests and staff very seriously. Rest assured that our stringent security measures are regularly reviewed and updated to maintain the highest levels of protection.

To help us ensure a safe and seamless experience for all, we kindly request your cooperation in arriving at the venue with plenty of time for enhanced security checks. We appreciate your patience while we carry out our necessary procedures, which may include searches. Please note that refusal to comply with search requests will result in non-admittance.

For your convenience and to expedite the process, we recommend bringing only small bags to the venue and refraining from bringing prohibited items.

We also ask that you remain vigilant and report any concerns to a member of our staff. Your assistance in maintaining the safety and security of the Winter Gardens and all its occupants is greatly appreciated.

To protect the intellectual property rights of our performers and to maintain a distraction-free environment, the use of photographic and recording equipment at our venue is strictly prohibited without prior authorization. This includes devices such as phones, iPads, and tablets.

We kindly request that you respect our policy and refrain from using any unauthorized equipment during your visit. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests, we kindly request that outside food and drink be refrained from unless required for health conditions.

However, we do offer a range of delicious food and beverage options for your enjoyment, available for purchase at any of our conveniently located bars. Alcoholic drinks are permitted in the auditorium, provided they are in plastic cups and have been purchased on-site.

Please note that chewing gum is not permitted in the venue.

Smoking real or electronic cigarettes is strictly forbidden inside the building.

At the Winter Gardens, we value our guests’ comfort and enjoyment. While the Opera House is a seated venue, artists sometimes encourage standing and dancing during certain performances.

We welcome and encourage you to join in the fun, as long as you are mindful of the other guests and do not obstruct anyone’s view. Your cooperation in ensuring everyone’s enjoyment of the performance is greatly appreciated.

The door time refers to the time that the doors will open, with the show typically commencing 30 minutes to an hour after that. The start time refers to the time the show will actually begin, which could be with a support artist or the main artist themselves.

To avoid missing any part of the performance, we strongly recommend arriving at the time indicated on your ticket. If you do happen to arrive late, please be aware that we will do our best to admit you during a suitable break in the performance, unless otherwise specified by the artist. Please note that some artists may choose not to admit latecomers until the interval.

Some shows may involve flashing lights, loud sounds, and other sensory effects that may not be suitable for all ages. As such, we do not permit Babes in Arms or children under 2 years old unless the show is specifically designed for this age group.

For children over the age of 2, a ticket is required for their own seat, and accompanying adults should be confident that the child can remain seated throughout the performance without being a distraction to others.

For shows aimed at children; the Babes in Arms policy varies per production, this is typically detailed on the event page. Children who fall under the Babes in Arms policy will be able to sit on the parent/guardians lap without their own ticket. If you are unsure about the Babes in Arms policy or suitability of an event contact us on 01253 629600 and our team will endeavour to help with your enquiry. We kindly request that all guests refrain from causing any disruptions during the show, as this may result in refused entry or removal from the venue.

Guests aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and must be seated at standing events.
