Travelling by coach

An informal arrangement is currently in place permitting coach access to Church Street (accessed from Leopold Grove) after 6pm to drop off and collect outside the Winter Gardens.

On a majority of evenings the coaches must do a loop in the area fronting the Winter Gardens (it is possible), and exit in the same direction only. If the production attracts multiple coach parties, arrangements can be made to leave the Abingdon Street gates open such that coaches enter via Church Street and exit at Abingdon Street, without congesting the Winter Gardens Frontage. Coaches are not permitted to wait in the area during the performance.

Travelling by train

Blackpool North Station is approximately 10 minutes walk from the Winter Gardens.

From Blackpool North head to Talbot Road and walk towards the promenade, turn left onto Abingdon Street. Continue to on Abingdon Street and you will see The Winter Gardens Church Street entrance in front of you.  Busses and Taxis are permitted to use St John’s Square so be careful when crossing.
