PETE BENTHAM & THE ACOUSTIC DINNER LADIES, support from Rob Galloway (The Yalla Yallas), and Catlow.

Liverpool artpunks Pete Bentham & the Dinner Ladies are at the vanguard of the current UK DIY underground scene and have also built a good following across Europe.

Their 'Kitchencore' songs are witty and quirky tales of northern working class life, featuring goth postmen, sensitive lorry drivers, rude statues, cats and dogs and their heroes such as Yuri Gagarin and Marcel Duchamp. Always original, funny and poignant.

They have released four full length albums and two EP's on Antipop Records and have played hundreds of gigs and festival across the UK and Europe including Rebellion Festival, The Great British Alternative Music Festival and Sound City.

Their shows are always entertaining, with something serious to say. A reminder us that protest music can still be fun. Pete brings his acoustic line up to the Winter Gardens for the Almost Acoustic Club.

This is Kitchencore!
