Future Fan Fest 2 is preparing to amaze fans at The Winter Gardens Blackpool
It’s time to buckle up as Blackpool is going “Back to the Future” again on Saturday the 25th of February 2023 as Future Fan Fest 2 is preparing to amaze fans of the franchise once again by transforming The mighty Winter Gardens into iconic scenes from Hill Valley and take Back to The Future Fans back in time, and experience the Future!
Three Back to the future super fans first held this event in January 2022 and it was an amazing sell out success, they built a full scale “Time travel Train” from the third movie which was the lifelong dream of events organiser Mike Hutchinson and expert set builder Ian Robinson, Ian said, “This was a massive build and a real labour of love although to see the families faces when they saw what we had created was 100% worth it.
A screen perfect Delorean was another star of the event which was built over ten years by Mike Hutchison, Mike said “It was my honour to showcase my Delorean and the fans were amazed by the live Q and As we had on the big screen with Michael Schaffe who designed the Delorean along with Jeffery Wiseman who played George McFly.
The live stage show that kept the day buzzing was hosted by Apprentice Star and motivational speaker Adam Corbally, Adam said, last year was brilliant, this year will be amazing, we have built up a massive following on social media and a lovely community of fans, we are listening to what the fans want and we know that “if we build it they will come” tickets are selling fast and this event is sure to be another sell out, we have so much going on already including world class set builds, LIVE Q and A with stars from the Movie trilogy, photo opportunities galore, cos play competition, the ultimate Future Fan Fest quiz, movie memorabilia and merchandise market and a retro arcade gaming competition with one off prizes!
