Blackpool Council is looking to appoint a Non-Executive Director to join the Board of Blackpool Entertainment Company Ltd that manages the Winter Gardens complex.
The successful candidate will be someone that can make a positive impact and vital contribution in helping the company to maintain its position as a world class attraction for residents and visitors. As a director of the company, you will take an active role in shaping and defining the company’s future direction, strategic objectives and values.
To be successful in this role you will have Board/ executive/senior management level experience, ideally in the entertainment sector. Full details of the role can be found in the candidate pack below, which includes the Role Description, Person Specification and application form.
On average, this role will require a time commitment of attendance at a minimum of eight to ten Board or Committee meetings per year, plus training and away days.
