Elvis Celebration 2017

Elvis Celebration 2017

Following the unexpected cancellation of Europe’s Tribute To Elvis, Winter Gardens bosses have stepped in to ensure fans aren’t left disappointed.

Replacing the tribute event will be a 2-day celebration of Elvis featuring top Elvis Tribute Artists, open mic sessions and specialist traders. The Elvis Celebration 2017 will take place in the Empress Ballroom from 7pm on Friday 30 June and Saturday 01 July.

The event which will be free entry welcomes donations on behalf of the Winter Gardens Trust and the Mayor’s Charity.

Michael Williams, Managing Director “We were extremely disappointed to learn of the cancellation of Europe’s Tribute to Elvis and have worked tirelessly since on a solution to ensure the fans travelling from far and wide aren’t left disappointed.”

“The Elvis Celebration 2017 will be held in aid of 2 Charites and feature top Elvis Tribute Artists, great live music and much more. Our thanks go to our partners who have helped us resurrect this at such short notice and the team at the Winter Gardens for their work in the past 24 hours. We now hope people will support the festival and make this weekend one to remember”

The Elvis Celebration will accompany a weekend already packed with live music taking place in Blackpool Town Centre as the free to attend Jazz and Blues Festival takes place.

Those wishing to attend do not need to purchase a ticket, instead just arrive at the Empress Ballroom from 7pm on Friday 30 June & Saturday 01 July.
