The latest phase of refurbishment at Winter Gardens Blackpool has revealed the new glazed roof of the Floral Hall complete with eye-catching coloured lighting on the arches that provides a wonderful framing for the promenade areas.

Dining at The winter gardens blAckpool

The renowned Lancashire based cater Heathcotes Outside operate two dining venues within The Winter Gardens. The Mazzei Cafe is generally open 11am - 4pm for a variety of hot & cold beverages and light meals while The Empress Grill Room offers a delicious menu of British and Italian favourites in stunning surroundings on Friday/Saturday evenings, Sunday lunchtimes and for pre-show dining. In March 2010 Blackpool Council purchased the Winter Gardens. Funding for the purchases and investment was secured from European Regional Development Fund, Homes and Communities Agency, Northwest Regional Development Agency and Blackpool Council. Following the acquisition the Winter Gardens is undergoing a major programme of refurbishment projects that has already seen extensive work to the entrances, Dome and Floral Hall, and the opening of the two new dining options.
